2026 Africa Qurban Campaign: Bringing Hope to Thousands with Diversity Europe

As Diversity Europe, we carried out a large-scale 2026 Afrika Qurban organization across Ghana, Mali, Senegal, Guinea, and Nigeria during Eid al-Adha 2026. Following the sacrificial slaughter performed in accordance with Islamic guidelines, we shared the joy of the holiday by safely distributing the meat to tens of thousands of families in need across the region.

Eid al-Adha is a special time that showcases the finest examples of sharing and brotherhood. Guided by this awareness, we at Diversity Europe take great pride in delivering the generous donations entrusted to us by our benefactors to the regions of Africa in greatest need. As part of our 2026 Qurban operations, we conducted a comprehensive program across five different countries in West Africa.

Which African Countries Did We Reach During Eid al-Adha 2026?

Thanks to field feasibility studies conducted months in advance, our teams identified the most disadvantaged regions for our Qurban organization. We concentrated our efforts and distributed Qurban meat in the following countries:

Ghana: We prioritized impoverished rural villages and delivered fresh meat to thousands of families.
Mali: We brought the blessings of Qurban to communities struggling with drought and harsh living conditions.
Senegal: Our teams established an extensive distribution network, with a primary focus on orphanages and madrasas.
Guinea: The donations entrusted to us by our benefactors were delivered directly to pre-identified families in need.
Nigeria: Despite the challenges posed by high population density, we successfully completed the slaughter and distribution processes seamlessly thanks to our established logistical planning.

How Was Our 2026 Africa Qurban Campaign Conducted?

Transparency is the foundation of a reliable Qurban operation. Our 2026 Africa campaign followed these essential steps:

Careful Selection: Animals meeting the necessary criteria for Qurban were meticulously selected months in advance under the supervision of local veterinarians.
Compliance with Islamic Guidelines: Starting from the first day of Eid al-Adha, the slaughtering process was carried out under the supervision of our association officials and expert teams, with the proxies (vekalet) read aloud for each sacrifice.
Rapid and Hygienic Distribution: To ensure the meat remained unaffected by hot weather conditions, it was portioned and distributed in strict compliance with cold-chain and hygiene standards, ensuring it reached the local population without delay.

Continuing to Build Bridges of Compassion

Our activity in Africa is more than just a distribution of Qurban meat; it is a strong bridge of compassion built across geographies. The smile of a mother in Ghana and the happiness of a child in Senegal are the greatest proof that these donations are reaching the right places. We extend our deepest gratitude to our volunteers who worked actively in the field throughout the entire process, and to all our benefactors who have provided their unwavering support.
